Genmed provides Managed Services to the NHS in order to provide both cost and operational efficiencies, to support innovation and service improvement, and, ultimately, to have a positive impact on the delivery of patient care across the UK.

Genmed has a consistent history of growth. We formed in 2007 with just a handful of employees, and now have office, on-site and field-based staff working from our two UK sites. We currently manage more than 250 contracts in 46 NHS organisations across the UK.

Our revenues exceed £140m and we have ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years.

Meet Jade 

Hello!

Just over 8 years ago i made a move from small town Wales to London. Starting as a temp, Genmed was my first role when moving and I have not looked back since. 

Throughout my time here, I've been supported to take on new challenges and roles, expanding on my knowledge. From temp to site manager, Regional manager in more than one region, Implementation manager and now commercial manager.

Our commitment to our customers, and ultimately patients is at the heart of everything we do. I have been fortunate enough to witness lots of positive impact from our service offering to internal development. That shared purpose is inspiring and brings us together. 

At Genmed we are a team that values collaboration, sharing knowledge and encoring new ideas. The culture is something that is apparent at all levels within the business. Its a place where your voice is heard, your contributions matter and there is always room to grow. 

I am excited to see where the future takes us as we continue to grow together and celebrate more milestones for our healthcare customers.

Meet Finnoula 

Being a part of the Genmed team for several years now has been amazing. We have a culture which inspires confidence, collaboration, and respect. Our Senior Leadership Team are invested in our development and empower everybody to show leadership and drive change.

In my role as Regional Service Delivery Manager, no two days are the same which means I am always learning.

Patients are at the forefront of what we do and our mission to bring savings and efficiencies to the NHS is inspiring.

Meet Gemma 

I joined Genmed in 2020 as a Site Coordinator for a new contract at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

I was not only lucky to be part of a new venture, but I was also lucky to be part of a Team that supported the day-to-day running of procedures during Covid which saw the Trust take on cases they had never done before and requiring kit they had not used before.

Since joining Genmed I have progressed from being a Site Coordinator to a Service Delivery Manager to now being a Regional Service Delivery Manager. It is this internal recognition and support that makes me proud to be part of Genmed and I look forward to seeing what happens in the future.

Meet Vicki

I have been with Genmed as Senior Customer Care Coordinator for 4 years.  

I love that my role brings me something new and interesting every day and even after 4 years I’m still surprised at the new pieces of information I pick up.  When people ask me what my job entails it’s very hard to pin it down to anything precise as I cover all types of queries which assist our customers, both internal and external. Not knowing what my day is going to bring is both challenging and refreshing, and it certainly keeps me busy.  

My role puts me in contact with pretty much every aspect of the business so in one day I can be talking to our Accounts Team one minute and our Contracts Team the next, then the next day I might be out on site supporting a customer.  Great communication is integral to our success as a company, and there are no closed doors in Genmed. 

Genmed seems to attract ‘can do’ people and we all really look to help each other out; The number of nominations we see each month in the employee recognition scheme is testament to this. The office thus has a great atmosphere, and I genuinely look forward to turning up to work every day.
