Our services provide Trust’s with one point of contact for all equipment, kit and consumables whilst delivering inventory control, Scan4Safety and procedure level costing, financial and efficiency gains. Genmed take on the management of all equipment and all associated risk, whilst remaining completely vendor neutral, giving our customers freedom of clinical choice from multiple vendors for a best in class service, with one dedicated point of contact. Our customers benefit from both operational efficiency and financial savings, relieving clinical staff from administrative burdens and allowing them to concentrate on doing clinical jobs.
During the contract period we will work on a rolling refreshment programme for your equipment to keep your services up to date and future proof the surgical service where possible. Genmed also take on the management of all consumables, purchasing, goods receipt, invoice payment and produce reconciled data on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. This also includes a Scan4Safety inventory control system to improve patient safety and reduce stock levels and costs.
Alongside your clinical and financial teams, we will produce data such as procedure level and peer to peer level costings to help bring further efficiencies to the Trust. Management of any outsourced services, scheduling, theatre reception, SSD, patient transport, surgical/theatre cleaning, can also be included within your contract. Genmed staff will be on-site to provide consistent, constant and reliable support.
