Genmed is a provider of vendor-neutral, flexible, scalable managed services to the NHS, Health Boards and private healthcare organisations in the UK and Europe and to the wider public sector. Genmed is delighted to welcome Andrew Gore to its group Board as Non-Executive Director.
Andrew brings a wealth of healthcare experience gained over a 25-year career in senior executive leadership roles within the private acute healthcare sector in the UK and Ireland.
Andrew said, “I’m pleased to have joined the Genmed Board and look forward to working with the experienced and dedicated team. During my career, I’ve always focused on ensuring there is an equal balance between clinical quality, patient safety and commercial performance. Genmed works in partnership with customers, helping to ensure this balance is achieved in the managed services it provides.”
Most recently Andrew was CEO of St Vincent’s Private Hospital, the largest private acute hospital in Dublin specialising in the treatment of all aspects of cancer care. Prior to that he ran his own healthcare consultancy providing support to clients in developing their businesses whilst focusing on delivering high quality patient care.
Andrew has also been COO of Spire Healthcare and HCA Healthcare UK. Whilst at Spire Healthcare, the UK’s only listed private healthcare provider, he was part of the executive team that successfully led the business through to listing on the London Stock Exchange.
